Lime Rendering

Lime based through coloured render

The old vicarage at Owmby-by-Spital had had an extension to the properties during the 60s and the clients did not like the look as it wasn't really in keeping with the rest of the building. Also, some of the mortar joints and stone work of an earlier extension, was beginning to wear away and perish.

We offered a solution of rendering the outside elevations in a lime based through coloured render. This would allow the render to be sympathetic to the older part of the property and give an aesthetically pleasing look to the 60s extension part.

A second part of our contract with the client, was to undertake some lime rendering work internally to some stonework in their porch.
